What Is a Lifestyle Newborn Session?
Unlike traditional posed newborn photography, lifestyle sessions are relaxed, baby-led, and focused on the connection between you and your newest addition. We will capture the quiet cuddles, the tiny yawns, the intricate details of their hands and feet, and the beautiful new dynamic of your family.
Older siblings and family pets are always welcome and encouraged to participate — some of the most treasured images come from those interactions. Sessions are typically 2–3 hours to allow plenty of time for feeding, soothing, and changing.

When to Book Your Beaverton Newborn Session
I recommend booking your newborn session during your second trimester, as my calendar fills up quickly. The ideal time to photograph your newborn is within the first two weeks of life, when they are still sleepy and curled up in those beautiful newborn poses. However, I am happy to photograph babies up to 8 weeks old.
What to Prepare for Your In-Home Session
Very little preparation is needed — that is the beauty of lifestyle newborn photography. I will utilize the natural light in your home, typically in the nursery, master bedroom, or living room. I simply ask that you have the space tidy and at a comfortable temperature for your baby. I will handle everything else.
I bring a calm, patient energy to every session. There is no rush, no schedule to stick to, and no pressure. We simply follow your baby's lead, and the result is a gallery of warm, natural, and deeply emotive images that tell the story of your first days together.
